Liz (Quest's) First Thanksgiving! :D
Well, I had lots of sightseeing adventures planned for her but my friend Milt really wanted us to come over for Thanksgiving - he was having "Orphans Thanksgiving" for those of us who were not going home to see our families or for those that didn't have anywhere to go. It was very thoughtful and we decided to rearrange plans to make it over there. We would go sightseeing in the morning only and over to Milt's for dinner.
After getting stuck in the most miserable traffic for hours, we made it about an hour late but fortunately Milt had been slow with finishing everything up in order to buy us some time. Awwwwww....what a sweetheart! It was a great group of us and it was incredibly generous for Milt to open us his house and his family Thanksgiving to share with us few outsiders! Milt is an incredible cook and did an AWESOME job on dinner. After dinner, I managed to somehow find room to try all the desserts but ohhhhh what a mistake as I was beyond full.
After dinner, we went over to Milt's "other house" - the local dive bar I like to call "The Fungus". The actual name is the Mushroom and yeah, it's a dive! LOL. Liz and I were going to hang for a drink just so she could experience it and we were off to Old Sac to take a few photos.
