On the map, the route looks little. However, with a big truck, gravel roads, wind in front, it took again a whole morning to get to Walvisbaai. But, we saw the rare mountain zebra's. And in a flash dassies (no pictures, unfortunally)! Again it was a moon landscape. This time I did not fell a sleep again. Than you think you have seen all varieties, you're so wrong. Then hills were greenish, than more red. Than, someone just had trown some big stones over there, like dice. Not once, but countless times. Either, he threw them also on the road, so shooting nice pics, was merely impossible.

Arrived at Walvisbaai, the weather turned to light rain, little wind and temps around 16 Celsius. We were used to hostile and hot environments! Searching for a sweater in the truck, way up in the back between all the backpackthings, grrrblm. Ah there it is. You need some sacrfice to enjoy the nice coast of Namibia. Nevermind, let's go to the flamingo's. And there were enough in the 'baai'. My photo-gear caused me to very quickly bored. This picture was borrowed of a travelcompagnon. Getting something to eat over here and let's get out of here!
