I am finally posting few pictures from Dusseldorf and write some things about some of the places I visited so far.
From the first day I arrived here I’ve got in love with the city.
It is my first visit in Nordrhein-Westfalen and I am planning to stay longer then I’ve planned.
In the main time I will visit some of the cities around Dusseldorf, like Cologne, maybe Bonn and other places…
On Nov. 23 I meet with lauro which is originally from Philippines and lives here. We ended up visiting the Aquazzo, the Rhein tower, took a walk on the harbor, visited a bookstore where he recommended to me a language book for learning German, had a walk on the Rhein promenade, going to one of lauro’s restaurants and his favorite bar- Salon des amateurs.
It was an amazing day. I was impressed with what I’ve seen. The Aquazzo has a big collection of water life, insects, plants, rocks and minerals, tropical rain forest with a small river and crocodiles.
The entrance is 6 Euro.
From the Aquazzo we went to the bookstore where I bought a language book.
Hopefully soon I will be able to speak the language J
Lauro is just in love with the German language and this city, he is the person you will want to meet if you come here because he can offer lots of good information’s, great guide, even better than some of the locals I think. When you are in love with a place you try to explore each corner of it. So I recommend you meet lauro J if you plan to visit Dusseldorf.
Going from the bookstore to the harbor we could see the Rhein Tower which is one of the most beautiful in Germany.
We had a stop at Minol, one of his favorite restaurants near the harbor for a drink and something to eat. It was really pleasant to be there.
The walk along the river was awesome, as well the beach it seems to be a cool place to hang out in special in the summer.
Walking back to the Altstad trough the rhein promenade offered me a view of some nice streets with beautiful architecture. Before we ended the trip we stopped at -Salon des amateurs for a beer, more talk, the place is excellent.
I want to go up into the Rhein tower sometimes when is not cloudy so I can have a look over Dusseldorf and the region.
It was already dark outside but for sure I will go again soon.
My pictures are not really the best this time. I’ll take better ones J
