Teacher Friends...

I have been particularly happy to be walking, riding, strolling, and hiking the streets, trails and roads of Austin . Coming "home" can be a strange feeling... especially since my home that I knew last in this town has been occupied by others.. who might I add cut down several trees...one a dear peach tree my wusband gave me...

anywho, familiar faces greeted me on several planned gatherings... one with some close girl friends and the other with former teachers colleagues.  It felt good to be in the company of people who knew me, had heard my story, people who the conversation began where we had ended... instead of life on the raod where every conversation began at the very beginning.

After setting up camp at a friend's carport for a week and staying at a local state park, I have arrived at the coolest, most laid back.

Healing waters of Barton Springs
..most eclectic RV park at Pecan Grove on Barton Springs Road. So far I have met a local paper's music critique, a musician/artist who has played with Wylie Nelson and Lyle Lovett, a man who is an attorney for the state prosectuting natural resource violations...and a woman who lost a daughter this last year.

I have riden my bike to yoga class a couple of times. Checked out Whole Foods today. Am planning on attending yoga at  Castle Hill. Will be listening to some live music this weekend!

Am happy to be home...:) a new excitement has been born in me for my home town... the town that gave me so much....people who love me so much...new experiences that I have opened for ....so much!!!!! :)
