Eleven and a half months, and twenty countries. The story of a trip round the world with my girlfriend (now wife), Zoe. This blog is the story of the first two months: Russia, Mongolia and China.
At 8pm every night there's a free light show on the Hong Kong skyline, and it's a fantastic spectacle. The skyline itself is a really majestic sight at night (one of the best panoramas I saw in a year travelling). On the southern tip of Kowloon you can stand looking across the harbour to Hong Kong island, where there's a laser and light show. There is music playing on the Kowloon side. It only lasts about 10 minutes. Definitely worth going to see if you're in Hong Kong.
