My first Thai meal .... A Thai Omellette and steamed rice
Well ... day 2 started off a bit late ..... as we both were tired after the panic to get ready, the long haul flights and waiting around airports and the little thing called time difference!

After surfacing about 1:00 pm ..... we headed down to the fabulous but crazy Koh San Road! where we got breakfast .... our first Thai meal .... A Thai Omellette with steamed rice .....  mind you ... it wasn't too different from home really!

After the meal .... we got nabbed by the famous tuk-tuk drivers .... and signed up for 30 Baht (about 60 cent) for what was supposed to be a sight seeing trip ... but turned out to be more of a shopping trip ... in and out of tailor shops and jewellers!! We didn't buy anything ... but the drivers get gasoline vouchers for every customer that they take there! Well .
Aoife and me ... neighbours re-united on the other side of the world
. we did get to see a bit of traditional Bangkok and a few of the sights i suppose! The next time we go to do that ... we will agree a fixed route for a fixed price!!

Once we got back to Koh San ..... i met up with my neighbour from home Aoife and Emma, also from Donegal, who are teaching English over here, ended up in the pub (as all good Irish people do) and watched Liverpool hammer Newcastle (sorry Emma .... but they did get a hammering) Spent most of the night there and then onto a club somewhere on Koh San as well ... I have no idea what the name of it was!! Got back to the hotel (our newly chosen, nicer but a little more expensive hotel) fairly late ... and that brought day 2 to a close!!!

You're in the place to be! I love Bangkok. I just got back from Thailand and I'll miss it a lot. I'm working on my own blog about Thailand, quit difficult for me to write it in english, but I'll take my time for it. Have a great time further.
Sawadee. :D
