Turkeytime in Eureka
What a great time we had. Our four kids were together at our house. Valerie came from Aberdeen Washington. Angela came from Prineville Oregon. Earl and Sylvia live in Eureka.
Valerie's daughter, Leah, flew in from Fort Worth, Texas. It was 8 hours and she was exhausted when she arrived. She rallied and had a great time. Valerie's son, Eli, flew in from Seattle Washington. He just graduated from college and was happy to have a vacation. Valerie's third child, Sarah, could not get free as she has a farm and her animal feeder cancelled at the last minute.
Sylvia's daughters, Tara, Morgan and Erin all came by. Tara came in for Wednesday but had to work on Thursday and drove home to Santa Rosa at 4:30AM on Thanksgiving morning.
Sylvia's husband David brought snack food. They stayed up after Tara left and cooked a variety of Greek fingerfoods.Earl's son, Bernie came but his daughter, Desiree, won't be able to come until Friday. It will be fun to see her then. Earl's wife, Syndee, brought Pecan Pie.
Angela had all three of her kids there: Heath, Chad and Alicia. Heath's lovely wife, Jennifer, was the best sport! They had a blast visiting with everyone and with each other. Angela's husband Bill was part of the cooking squad.
The dinner was fun and loud.... lots of laughter and bantering.... It is good to be with family....
