Repelling 101
October 23, 2007
The campsite offers breakfast every morning, you just need to tell them approximately what time you will be waking up, and they will have it ready. Great food, for very cheap. It is usually some eggs with tortillas and freshly squeezed orange juice.
After breakfast Byron and Ben showed up, and we set off for some adventure. Chase picked out a waterfall near the Micos, and proceeded to teach me how to repell right then and there. Probably not the best repel to learn on, but hey, what are you going to do. After we all repelled the waterfall, the expert paddlers struck out down the Micos. It is a very quick trip back to the campsite by kayak, but very technical. So i opted out of this one.
After the guys came back, we had dinner at the campsite. The propierter also offers dinner, but it is not always offered. Dinner was the usual ecclectic mix of American and Mexican food that is prepared for gringos. Again we made a fire and drank the night away. It was a very cold night.
