For a very long time, I had dreamed of travelling to Morocco, land of the Kasbahs and the blue men of the desert. Day 4: Essaouira to Marrakech

We left our hotel early that morning (9:00, of course) and headed out to explore and have lunch in the medina in Essaouria before heading to our next destination, Marrakech.

After having lunch in the medina, we made a stop at the Argan factory which is run by widows and divorced women. They demonstrated the process of making Argan oil and its many uses (i.e. cooking oil, body oil, shampoos, soaps, lotions, etc.)
