Our dive school

We are now certified SCUBA divers! That means that we can dive anywhere we want, on our own to 18 metres...hmmm, that is a very scary thought! To be quite honest though, the hardest part was the qualifying swim. We had to demonstrate that we were safe in the water by swimming 200metres continuously and then floating for 10minutes. The floating bit was not a problem, but I can assure you we suffered in the swim! hehe! Our fitness levels aren´t quite up to scratch yet!!

The course was fantastic!  Our ears were terrible at equalizing, and Arlene was deaf on and off for the next few days, but honestly it was worth it. The reef was fantastic with amazing sea life... Tris was a bit of a star by the end of the course with tricks under water...forward rolls...backward rolls...hovering extremely close to the reef... kicking the reef... it was an amazing experience and we recommend it to everyone!! We are already planning the next dive...we think possibly in Panama to get our Advanced Open Water...which means we can dive to 30 metres!! That involves night diving, and will bring us deep enough to see ship wrecks...bloody hell we are adventurous ;-)
