Snowboarding at Sierra

It was a beautiful day and we finally got to go snowboarding! Christina's parents dropped us off at Sierra-at-Tahoe and we headed toward the slopes. I had never snowboarded before, so I was kind of nervous about trying it (and being sick). Vicky went skiing and Christina snowboarded with me, trying to teach me to balance and turn by shifting my weight from one foot to another. Christina was a good teacher but I still don't get it! :/ Traveling from one place to another took so much effort; I either had to hop with one foot and painstakingly drag the other foot with the board behind or scoot around on my butt. After wiping out on the bunny slope (and some random person commented on my huge wipeout too! haha...), we went inside for lunch.
Somehow, after lunch Christina and Vicky convinced me to go on a higher ski lift because the winding, confusing route down was still a green dot path (as opposed to a black diamond or blue square or whatever). I finally got back down after what seemed like hours of constantly falling and considering getting up or lying in the snow forever. Vicky and Christina went for another trip and I started making a giant snowball stash. Vicky came down first so we ganged up against Christina and pelted her as she came closer. We left Sierra a while later and went back to the cabin, continuing on our igloo in the backyard!
