So we get to Valencia and we have to find were a friend lives. It one a little ways down the road toward the Sea. We I thought it was closer than it really was.
So we're hiking it across town and some police officers stop us. Their asking a lot of questions. They say theres been a trouble with tourist lately. Long story short. They end up swiping money from us. We were a little edgy the rest of the day.
Anyways, we meet up with one of Donovan's fratenity brothers, Vince. Vince is living in Valencia to teach for the next few months. Plus he had just arrived in town, so he also wanted to see the sights.
There is so much favor in the architecture, food, and atmosphere of the city.
We were theye when the Prince married the News Caster. That was a huge deal there. Every TV was on, and the City pretty much went to Slooooww Moooooooo.
Then Valencia won the Euro Cup. The city was one huge party. A true Football Party. Every street was alive. The music was loud. But not as loud as the fireworks. There was even homemade fireworks that felt like bombs. It was safer to stay out of everyones way. We found a perch on a old building where we could watch the festivities. It was truely amazing. There were hooligans everywhere. It was a long noisy night.
But in the morning, the party was almost cleaned up. And that was Astonishing.
