DINAGYANG FESTIVAL  (Iloilo, January 25-27, 2008)

Celebrated every 4th weekend of January, Dinagyang festival honors the Christianization of the natives and respects the Holy Child Jesus. There are colorful parades highlighted by a drammatization in honor of the patron saint Sto. Nino as the object of offerings and prayers amidst the loud sounds of drums and shouts of "Viva Senor Sto. Nino!". As an additional attraction, it also features the best delicacies of the province of Iloilo!
