My parents adopted one of my uncle's puppies...

    Meet Kokomo, the newest member of the Hirsch family. She's a chocolate lab and almost 3 months old. She has beautiful green eyes and a big dog bark and growl already. When you pick her up she does this semi-growl/moan thing, which she learned from her father, and she loves sticks, something she learned from her mother. She has her mother's perky ears, and her father's wide snout...and she's adorable. My parents claim she's the best dog we've ever had...and she's only been in the family for a week!

    She already knows "sit" and how to fetch (with both sticks and small balls). Also, she enjoys wrestling our 3 year old border collie, Riley. (Kokomo actually had Riley pinned to the ground at one point this afternoon.)

(My parents named her Kokomo because of a few reasons. First, her parents are my uncle's dogs Cocoa and Mocha...hence, Kokomo. Second, Kokomo the place, is an island off of Jamaica and the puppy came from Jamaica, Vermont. My parents are really quite proud of this whole naming thing. Haha.)
