Ercolano

The Archeologic site of Ercolano is just under the Vesuvio, a few kilometers from Napoles. My impression is it is smaller and better keeped than Pompei: you can see all the street and the buildings and you fill like you were in year 79 d.C. (so sometimes take a look at the Vesuvio...). To go there you can use the "circumvesuviana": the local train from Napoles.
