Malta was pleasant for one week as the island is small. One of the main attraction is the churches. The buses are a fun experience and cheap. Don't go to Malta for beaches despite water is crystal clear, a lot of them are rocky and small. Gozo has nicer beaches.

Sliema Hotel
Basic rooms,smelt of mould, quite small. Dated furnitures.
Location is ok, bus in front of the hotel. Harbour within walking distance.
Major problem : Toilet overflowed three times in the week...
If I was to go back there I would choose a different hotel.
