Change of plans...

It was a Friday when I packed my trolly, grabbed some suntan lotion, my bikini, shades, everything you need for a relaxing weekend in Greece. I was supposed to meet a friend in Thessaloniki as we wanted to spend the weekend together. 3 hours before leaving work and heading to the airport he told me he's sick and it wouldn't be much fun hanging out with him.

All I didn't want to do was going back home. I was sitting there with my bag, my bikini, desperate to feel the sand between my toes and salty water on my skin :(

Oh well I was lucky. My flatmate was in Antalya by the time I told him that my trip to Greece has been cancelled. So he invited me to come down to Turkey and spend the weekend with him. Whatelse to say? I changed my ticket and three hours later I was sitting on the plane to Antalya.

So I think I have to dedicate this travel blog to my flatmate and friend Daniel for saving a desperate German girl from getting bored to death by spending the weekend at home.  Thanks again mate!
