Journey to and arriving in Hong Kong

We used Oasis Airlines to fly from Vancouver to Hong Kong. They were easily the cheapest option and we would totally recommend them for anyone flying between either Vancouver and Hong Kong or London and Hong Kong. We hear they are adding more routes too. Everything was easy. Check in was super quick and helpful, the flight attendants were so friendly and bent over backwards to make a 13 hour flight seem much shorter (Love their outfits too, good job whoever designed them). They are the first airline we can remember using having such a wide range of Veggie meals to choose from which is all done at the booking stage on the internet, as is seat reservation.
Arriving in HK we got our Octupus card at the airport which is a pre pay transport card (the technology borrowed by London for the Oyster card. Why the seafood related names?). We took an A21 bus from the airport for just HKD$33 which was a sign of amazingly cheap, clean and efficient public transport to come. London you are shameful in comparison. We have since taken an underground journey on the MTR which cost just HKD$4.6, that's approximately 30p!!! Great to be in a city with fully integrated transport that works properly.
