USA - wild wild west....

Here I am, finally sitting at home writing my last journal of this trip….
The two weeks in the United States were fantastic. We had beautiful weather almost every single day! The first 2 days, we spent in Los Angeles. We visited the Universal Studios which were really interesting and just looked around the city.
On Sunday, we drove all the way to Las Vegas. Las Vegas is just unreal. A big city in the middle of nowhere with hotels of all shapes and colors and themes...there is New York, Venice, Rom, Paris, Egypt and so on... Of course, we tried our luck but were not really successful. There are a few nice places around Las Vegas as well....such as the Red Canyon. We went there and really enjoyed the nice environment (there are beautiful plants and lots of chip munks).
Grand Canyon was stunning.
From Grand Canyon we made our way through beautiful landscapes to Death Valley. There we spent time walking on a saltlike, in a canyon and fooling around in the sand dunes. It was just so funny and we all had some good laughs!
San Francisco was our next destination where we stayed 2 days. We explored the city on a hop on hop off bus and saw all the famous sights such as Golden Gate Bridge, Lambord Street, the pier and much more. San Fran is a really nice city but I still like Sydney better!
The road from San Francisco to LA went almost all the time along the coast. There were some really beautiful spots here and we stayed at a hotel overlooking a cliff!! Amazing!
The last two days in the USA, we spent exploring Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Beverly Hills. Unfortunatly, our star hunt wasn’t really successfull in LA....
Well, it was such a great time and I really enjoyed my around the world trip so much . I would do it again on my own. You learn so much about yourself and also, you realise how nice your own country is as well and how much you love your frinds and family. Really good experience!!!!
