The city of Partying

Studying abroad just doesn't mean partying and drinking, it means assimilating into the culture, learning the language, speaking the language, interacting with spaniards, eating spanish food "tapas", accepting the differences, opening up your horizons, being patient, and searching for yourself, for who you are. This is my life, this is my year abroad in Granada, Spain 2007-2008

The city of Partying

Barcelona is not considered the "party capital" of Spain for nothing. In between my pre-intensive language program in Cadiz and my intensive language program in Granada, I had a week break and decided to join two of my friends on a week long trip to Barcelona. Seven days was not enough to see all of Barcelona, to take in the urban culture, the fashion, the partying, the history, and the unique architecture that Gaudi has left to be known around the world.

there is just not enough time to see everything in barcelona in a week, we were only able to see:

- barcelona Cathedral which was gigantic
- Sagrada Familia- amazing!
- estatua de cristobol colon
- arc en barcelona
- calle las Ramblas- which has great shopping and culture for tourists
- Picasso Museum
