First full day in Vernon
Today we took different paths. Steph went to Kelowna with her mum, Virginia for a shopping trip capped off by a visit to a spa while Adam and David played a round of golf at the Vernon Golf and Country Club.
The spa was in the Grand Hotel in Kelowna which was awesome and so unbelievably relaxing, massages all round. Post massage Steph and Virginia went to a sushi restaurant called Momo's; very very tasty.
The round of golf was threatened by the weather but in true hardy Canadian spirit the boys ventured on. It was the last day the course was open but even so it was still in good condition and despite the borrowed clubs and it being the first visit to the course I shot a 91 which isn't too bad all things considered.
We reunited in the evening for a home cooked meal of Spaghetti and veggie balls which went down a treat. We're going to miss the homecooked stuff.
