Day 3 in Vancouver

Today we drove out to the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge with David and Virginia. The weather was much improved and when we got to the canyon the rays of sun shining on the mist hanging in the trees was incredible (we've got photo's to back that up). We hiked through the woods across the bridge past some waterfalls and the raging water in the canyon.
After the hike we drove to Horseshoe Bay for a spot of lunch and stopped to take some panoramic photos of the view back to Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver.
We drove back to English Bay which in our opinion was the nicest part of Vancouver we have visited. There was a path following the coast which was packed with cyclists, rollerbladers and people walking all sorts of little dogs (pugs, dachsunds, yorkies, westies etc etc). We strolled along the seafront and took an aquabus across the bay to an area called Granville Island where we went into the public market. The market had an unbelievable array of food stuffs and delicacies which got our juices flowing!! It was probably the best market we've ever been in.
In the evening we went to a restaurant called Enigma which Stephanie discovered on the internet while we were back in England. It's in Kitsilano on W10th. There was live Jazz being played by a stereotypical old jazz dude (looked a bit like Willie Nelson minus the country). The food was superb.
