ESCALATOR!!

December 1, 2007
I was leaving the Mustek metro station today and the escalator was shut down.  So, I had to climb this enormous escalator.  Let me just say that it was a mini Mt. Everest!!  My thighs were BURNING by the time I got to the top!  ha ha.  The whole time I was traversing it, a kind little voice said, "please exit the escalator.  When every one is  off it will start up again."  A lot of good that does when you are already a quarter of the way up!!

Yes! Those escalators are crazy. They have got to be the steepest ones I've ever ridden. I remember the wind coming from the tunnel up the escalator was quite forceful.Never try running down these escalators. You might just end up rolling all the way down which almost happened to me! :-)
