Barcelona
I visited Barcelona very long time ago in 1995 when I was very young. It was and still is a beautiful and sparkling city in Spain. It is very old city from 218 BC and you can see that by the Cathedrals, squares and buildings in the city. A must-see is the Sagrada Familia church. It is build since 1882 and the Spanish hope that it will finish in 2025! I was one of the first who really could see the church and city from above, because the lift was just installed in 1995. Now many years later the church probably will be changed because of all the construction work. But I still like the photograph of a young me in top of the church.
Another must see in Park Guell in the Gracia aria. This park dates from 1900 and is build by Gaudi, who is responsable for many buildings in Barcelona with his own style. This gives the park a special athmosphere.
Other sights: the ramblas, the Arc the Triomph, Plaza de Catalunya and the Cathedral of Barcelona.
