Night out on the town

A few of us waiting at Metro.

I needed a break, and my workout partner, Jodi, and my trainer, William planned just the right thing. We started out at Jodi's favorite sushi place and enjoyed a great menu and good conversation with the sushi chef since we sat at the counter where they prepare the food.

After dinner we headed into town to a great little martini bar called Metro. They make the best Chocolate Martini's I have EVER had! Here we met up with a few more friends, and after a martini or 2 we headed down the street to Corned Beef. I know it sounds odd, but Corned Beef is seriously the greatest bar I have been to. You walk in and there is a bar with people crowed around and people sitting on the stools enjoying a beer. Walk into the next room, there is a dance floor and a Dj pounding the hip hop and top 40 tracks.

Dancing at Corned Beef. Gosh I feel small!
Another bar closer to the back of the room is again crowded with people. To the left a doorway, and when you enter you walk into a room with hockey games on the TV's and people playing pool on the various pool tables, having a good time listening to rock music. If you head up the staircase at the back you find yourself in a large room with a bar, sports on TV's and a lot of retro music....and Michael Jackson tunes! rock on MJ! I LOVED THIS PLACE. Each room has a different kind of music and so many different kinds of people there too. I found myself on the stage in the hip hop top 40 room, partying it up with my boys all night. We had a blast. It's a shame I only got to come here once in the 2 months I was in town.

Maybe next time.
