A day trip with the 2 older kids and Jim seemed like a good idea to let Dayna get some much needed rest. Let's go to the ZOO!!! So off we went to the Natural Bridge Zoo. There are animals that wander around the paths and you can get bags of food to feed them with. There were a few donkeys that kept following Bryden around, and one tried to eat her hair. Potbelly pigs strut around with an attitude so don't bother them or they squeel at you. It isn't very pleasant.
The zoo has tons of different animals, but my favorite of all is the giraffe. I think they are stunning to look at, and they fascinate me. How long do you think it takes for their food to reach their stomach after they swallow it? haha. There were llamas wandering around everywhere and lots of animals in fenced off areas. Turtles, Zebras, elephants, monkeys, it was wonderful. We took a ride on the elephant, and got to hold a baby tiger too. I had a baby camel sneeze on me, GROSS, but all together I had a great time!
The souvenier shop had those fruit flavored candy sticks, and I think I bought them out. I LOVE them, so I decided to bring a bunch home with me. I love the simple things in life. :)
