My mother and I planed to visit the sites of the post stations of the Tokaido. Tokaido is a highway made in the Edo period between Tokyo and Kyoto. We started Sanjo bridge in Kyoto city.

Otsu-shi and Kusatsu-shi, Shiga-ken

Otsu city has a population of about 330,000 and very close to Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan.
