My mother and I planed to visit the sites of the post stations of the Tokaido. Tokaido is a highway made in the Edo period between Tokyo and Kyoto. We started Sanjo bridge in Kyoto city.

Ishiyakushi-juku, Suzuka

Ishiyakushi-juku was established in 1616. But Suzuka city has been well-known as the home of Suzuka Circuit in our time.  My mother likes to read a tanka, a traditonal Japanese poem, so we visited the preserved house of a famous tanka poet.
