'See through' of Le Louvre
Formally, this day starts at midnight. Saturday evening I had been roaming the streets of Paris. Well, that and the rest of the day of course. I only had a little nap between 15:00 and 19:00 after we had checked in to the hotel. So, after my nap I went to meet one of my dearest friends, who happens to live in Paris. We had dinner at Chartier and as I said, we roamed the streets of Paris after dinner. We said goodbey just after 23:00h. I walked along the avenues, the boulevards and rues some more and found myself staring at the gloriously illuminated pyramid of The Louvre, exactly at midnight. So, here are the only two decent photos of the Pyramid I made.

Soon afterwards, I went to the hotel to catch up on some much needed sleep. The following morning we were off to the most famous graveyards of them all: Cimetiere du pere lachaise.

After a couple of hours well spent, it was back on the bus that would take us home. That is to say...., at least for a mile and a half, after which the driver noticed we ran out of ALL the gas! On fumes and with the permission of the Paris Police we crawled over the periferique to the nearest gas station. After we had filled up, it was on to The Netherlands :(
