San Anchel

San Anchel is just my absolut favourite part of Mexico City...its like a village in the middle of a huuuge huuuge city! its a place of peace and quiteness, some nature in the smog!

The art market has 3 parts, mostly paintings...any kind of paintings! And there is a little traditional mexican market on one of the places!

All three parts look like little parks with trees and flowers, fountains and benches to relax and enjoy! Its fun watching the mexicans discussing about their art and pictures!

I'm not really and art interessted person but i fell in love with this place cause of the atmosphere!
Since the market is only on saturdays you can take your time and have a lovely mexican breakfast and try all thir specialities in one of the dozen sweet restaurants around the Market.

We've had a little lunch there after walking trough the market...not really into mexican food we just orderd a samon croissant which i can highly recommend!!! mhhhh that was soooo gooooood!!!
Of course we couldnt miss out a fresh Jugo!!!;) i could drink liters of them!!

On the way back from San Anchel we stopped in Santa Fe since we passed there anyway....in Santa Fe is the biggest shoppincenter of Mexico which i def had to show to my friend!!!

It was good for us to try and find some clothes;)! but the shops there are more like...Prada, Guess...jeah just expensive but we found some nice things anyway!

Its just worth a visit...its one KM long and 3 floors...shop shop shop!!! huuuge!

Sure we've had to stop at our favourite ice cream shop...jammmmmiiiiiiiiiii we def enjoyed that;)!
Being very dursty we went to get some drinks at Burger King but unfort we got some sparking ice tea and i felt sick after the first sip! igittt!!!! never gonne drink sparking ice tea again:P! felt like my mouth is sticking together!

There was this one shop that we thought we could afford to buy some clothes and they even had some that fitted:P (mexican sizes are pretty strange!!!) gone wild we took everything we liked to try it on:P...ISCH GEBONGT:P! they looked at us in cunfusion but we've had fun there:P!

Jeah so check-out Santa Fe when you're once in mexio city!
