Driving to Seattle and the baseball game

So my dad has been saying he would take us to a Mariners game for a long time, but its kind of difficult to get all our schedules to work. But he bought tickets to the August 27th game against the LA Angels. We left our house before noon. We got to the border and there was a ridiculous lineup. It took us a couple hours to get across, which we killed nicely by playing 'I Spy'.
We stopped in Bellingham for lunch. We wanted to go somewhere that we didn't have in Canada so we decided on Jack in the Box. It was awesome, I wish we had that in Canada, seems kind of dumb that we don't as its like right across the border. Maybe one day. Then we kept going and got into Seattle in rush hour.
The hotel we were staying at was soo nice! I am in love with it. Its the Westin Seattle. We pulled in there and a guy came up and opened our doors for us! It was awesome, then they helped us with our one suitcase for the 4 of us haha. The concierge also informed us that the LA Angels were in fact staying at our hotel! The valet took our car and parked it for us. We checked in and then headed up to our room on the 37th floor of the North Tower I believe(the hotel is 2 40 story towers). It was great, the view was unreal. There was a button that opened the curtains for you! It was great, I felt rich. We looked around our room for a bit and then checked out the pool(that we were unable to use because we didn't have time).
After that we went out and caught a cab to the game. It got really busy as we got closer to Safeco field so we paid the guy and hopped out. We went in and found our seats, which were really awesome too. We were right on the first base line. We got hot dogs and pop(not beer because we weren't 21 yet) and watched the game. The Mariners sucked and didn't even score a run, but as most people know, when you go to a live sports event its not really the score that matters, its just being there and the atmosphere there). My dad also bought those peanuts that the guys throw across a bunch of rows and never miss. It was really cool. We watched the whole game and then headed back to our hotel.
It took us a bit to get a cab, but we got one eventually and went back to our hotel. We walked through the lobby and went up to our room where we realized we had nothing to eat. We went back down and got our car from the valet and went to a corner store, where my dad bought a case of beer and we got pop and chips. When we went back to the hotel we saw some Angels. I am not a huge fan so I don't know what any of the players look like but my brother does. He was waiting for the same elevator as Vlademir Guerrera..I have no idea how to spell his name haha. But it was really exciting to be staying in the same hotel as them!
We went back up to our room, ate our snacks and rented a movie on the TV. It was a really awesome day.
