Red Rock Canyon ... one of many places you can visit!

Today we're heading to Red Rock Canyon ... along with all the FUN, we got to take in one sight before going home ... My hometown is a basin formed many years ago from a very large meteor rock hitting the Sudbury region ... resulting in the vast rocks ... but I we come closer to Red Rock Canyon I do see an obvious difference in the rocks here ... they are a rust red colour ... it's so neat ... if I was a geologist I'm sure I could tell you the exact type of rock in the canyon but for now I jump out of the jeep, walked through the brush, met up with a tiny lizard, and ran up the hills to the top ...

There are many trails to climb up Red Rock Canyon ... there are many cliffs to choose from, just a good pair of shoes, not flip-flops as Dan's co-worker's wife decided to wear .

.. might as well where heals LOL ... I guess that gave her the excuse to stay at the bottom while I eagerly climbed to the top ... I would of loved to 'hit' another trail but they were interested in beer and poker ... don't get me wrong, but while in a place where the high hills are different and the cactus plants flourish with lizards and other creatures running through the brush ... I felt rushed, leaving a place where I could wander off and enjoy the great outdoors of Las Vegas

Make sure you come here, but be sure the friends/family you bring don't only have one agenda or your trip will be cut short ... it's just another excuse for me to return and now that we bought into Planet Hollywood ... we certainly will be back!!!
