You need to be a tree hugger to enjoy Pemberton. Surprisingly, found many teenagers (university student) working in the farm while vacationing (i dont understand this as when i was a teenager, i have no interest on the environment. all i want to go to was a a place which at least have some amusing park). There are three famous Karri tree in Pemberton, they are Gloucester Tree (60 meter tall), Dave Evans Bicentennial tree (75 meter tall) and Diamon tree. They are huge and you can actually climb it if you are interested. I definitely said no on my first 2 meter hike. Scarry because it has only some kind of metal bar as the step to go up. Slippery if you don't come with the proper shoes and the right gear.

The three famous tree (hope you don't get your tongue slip in saying this sentence as I did), were equipped with the metal bar to climb and has a lookout on top of them. Previously the lookout was used to find any sign of fire in the Karri Forrest (maybe still used for the same thing nowadays).

I didnt have the picture from the diamond tree as I didnt actually go there after the first 2 tree :) Got tired of them also after driving several hour with only those to see everywhere. I was more interested in some cheese factory and doing some wine tasting rather than looking at trees.
