The Petronas twin towers.
We arrived in KL after a short flight from Krabi, took the bus into the city and then went on a sweaty hunt for somewhere to stay. After wandering the streets, carrying our backpacks for about an hour, we decided on the Pondok Lodge in the Bukit Bintang district. We dumped our things and went out in search of something to eat: Fried rice and the best dim sum we’ve ever had.

We decided to change hotels after the first night as our room was almost directly above a night club. So we checked into the Radius International Hotel just over the road. This was far more civilized and became home for the remaining two nights.

During the rest of our time in KL we had lunch at the top of the Menara Tower (with a 335m revolving restaurant), walked the steets of Chinatown and bought the obligatory cheap watch, walked through the lake gardens, cruised some of the numerous indoor shopping malls, took a trip up the Petronas twin towers and finally got our camera fixed.
