Today at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, we left the hotel for the trip to Chiang Mai. A small problem with this time of day, it's rush hour and the skytrain and subway are packed. A other problem is, if you're travelling by subway, you have to show your bags to a security guy at the entrance. Ofcource we have 2 backpack's fully loaded and closed with safety locks that we had to open and show at a very small table. How annoying that is...Grrrr....
After that we where allowed to travel further by subway. A few stops later we arrived at the trainstation. We went straight to our platform, were the train to Chaing Mai was. We found our car quick and made it our selves as comfortable as possible. It's first class, but with 2 big backpacks it's still a small cabine. A lady brought us a refreshing drink and the list for dinner. For the price of 150 baht pro person, we became a good cooked thai meal with duck curry, fried rice with pinneapple, fried vegetables, vegetables soup and pinneapple as dessert. It taste good, spicy and sweet. After dinner we became a big mug with tea. I love tea, so it was great that it was a big mug full. After a while the conductor came for checking the tickets and making the beds. He wishes us a good night sleep and leaves. There is not much to see anymore outside, so we deside to get some sleep.
