Samara Vokzal
Train stations are called “Vokzals” in Russian.
Samara vokzal is a very impressive construction. Around its dome an observation site is constructed. One can enjoy a wonderful view from this site and watch the city from the Volga River to Bezymyanka districts. The observation site is at the height of 64 m that is about the height of 18 storied building. The height of the construction itself including the pole is 76 m. Tourists can visit the railway road museum as well, which is situated inside the vokzal. There are many interesting exhibits in the museum.

Komsomolskaya Square is situated behind the train station. Railways in Russia play the most important role not only in cargo traffic, but in "passenger" traffic too. So Komsomolskaya Square is a busy place. Plenty of cab drivers are constantly on the look out for tourists, ready to get you to any part of the city ;o)
