The Hotel Carlton

The Hotel Carlton in San Francisco is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's everything you want in a traveler’s hotel, nice and friendly staff, clean and neat rooms, they are environmentally friendly (compact fluorescents in all light fixtures), nothing dramatic or over the top, and very international in orientation. The staff and clientele were all very multi-cultural. It reminded me that San Francisco is truly an international city.
