having fun in Lima

I let the guys visit Lima by their own during the day. They are big boys... actually I would have liked to join them, but had to work...

anyway I recommended them to try the seafood for lunch and so they did. They liked it very much :) I met them at the restaurant and watched the 1st half of the soccer match there. It wasn't a good idea...

Nevermind, we left the restaurant and walked in the nearby - Miraflores, then went to Barranco. So they could visit another part of the city. We walked around and decided to drive back. Huy wanted to buy a T-shirt with a "cuy" (guinea pig). We found really funny designs, hahaha. I called a taxi, so they will pick Huy up in order to drive him to the airport at 9pm. We went to another of my favorite places. It's called Si Senor. It's a mexican restaurant and they serve a drink called "Cholita", like a Margarita, but instead of Tequila they use the Pisco.

We made a toast and shared some food. What were we toasting for???? Me going to Austin ????

O Yadi I didn't know you met Huy! Are you going to visit him in Austin this week? I'm really sorry I won't be there, I've been trying to meet that guy for a while now. It's funny we live in the same town but we can't seem to find the right occasion to meet. Always looking for a good band to go see. I think he is a very busy guy. Maybe when I get back I will try again and hear stories of Peru and Austin and Yadi! jajaja

Ok, ok, they don't serve traditional Peruvian food, instead they serve a tasty Mexican one. It has a colorful, modern atmosphere that will get you out of the routine.

This is a different restaurant. Upon entering, you will receive an open and friendly welcome. Look for a waiter called Pastel (cake) ;)
They also serve drinks and one called Cholita - like a Margarita but instead of Tequila you will get Pisco. A peruvian touch. You can have it with different fruits. I recommend the Maracuya (Passion Fruit).

Also good to know, they have happy hour daily. I think it's the perfect place for starting the night :)
