Two Mini Meet Ups in Lima at same day!!!!! - part 1: Lili, Jim & Yadi :)

wow! this day was really great and so much fun!!! I had a blast, met a TB from Chicago and the best part, I met 2 nice girls who live in Lima :)

Ok, now the story. Jim and I have been in touch since a while. First time he posted about coming to Peru, I contacted him and I was giving him some advices and tips about living here. Also he has a dog "Rhea" at home and I offered him to share "Gunther" with him while he was here.
He arrived early Thursday and gave me a call on Saturday. We agreed to meet at his hostel and so we did. We were arriving to the hostel at the same time, that was fun. We met at the door and recognized us at first sight, didn't need to say anything. We just say Hi! like old friends, who met after a long time ;)

We went inside in order to pick up his video camera and he gave me a box, Shawn - a TB who has been in Lima a couple of months ago and I'm gonna see him in KC Meet Up again - sent to me and also Rhea sent a present to Gunther ;) My baby has TB's too. I'm proud of him ;)
I decided to go with Jim to Barranco, where he hasn't been yet. It's a different area, so I was sure he'd like it and he did! Jim was a bit hungry, so we went to a Traditional Peruvian Food fair and he got a "Papa Rellena" (stuffed potato with meet) and for drink a "Chicha morada" (soft drink made of purple corn).

During the past few days I have been talking to Lili (liliana77) about meeting. We both live in the city, have things in common, so why not meeting us in person? We were thinking about doing it next weekend, but this was the perfect opportunity. I'd meet 2 TB yeah! Unfortunately she had a family reunion, but he found the way to join us in Barranco at least for a while.

After eating, Jim and I were just walking around when my cell phone rang. It was Lili! She was already in Barranco and was looking for us! Jim was excited about meeting her too. And I just confessed him that this was the first time I'm going to meet Lili in person, haha. He found that so much fun! Lili and me started to talk as old friends and it was so nice Jim wanted to speak in Spanish the whole time :)

We decided to look for a nice place to have a couple of drinks and hang out for a while. Well, it wasn't easy to find an open place early. It wasn't even 7:30pm. We went to different places,  but finally found a really nice place. Jim was happy that was my first time with a TB there! He felt important, hehe. Of course you are important, Jim ;) I haven't been in that place in a while and was glad it was so lovely as I remembered it. The atmosphere is great, all the furniture and decoration. So sweet!!! And guess what. It was one of Lili's favorite too :)

We had a great time, just talking about our experiences and plans, drinking a couple of beers and having the place just for us! I was so happy about meeting Jim finally and of course about making a new friend in Lima!!!

While we were there, Jim got a call from Nelly, mmm ?, I'll talk about that later, haha. Anyway, I had already decided where to go to party and it was 9pm. Lili had to leave in order to attend to the family reunion, :( But she's gonna be a frequent member of this blog, haha.
We left the place, but before going to party, Jim and I needed to do something...
visit Gunther!!!!!
haha, we stopped at my house and gave Gunther the present Rhea sent him. He was so excited!!! Right now he's playing with his new cow :)

I just got dressed and we were ready to keep on moving and meet another TB...
