OMG, am I gonna eat cow's heart??? -Yes, you did it and love it!!!
Thorben wasn't sure when he'd leave Lima, could be on Thursday but not sure. We had plans for Wed (Soccer Match - yeah!!!), so maybe there wouldn't be an opportunity to try the Anticuchos (cow's heart). Where to go to try the Anticuchos in a traditional style? I got an idea! Let's go to the old part of Surco. The old main square is lovely and reminds to an old town.  We walked around and went to a small restaurant. You could even call it a "whole in the wall". It's very well known by the locals, haha. The 2 ladies who work there are the owners of the place. Thorben told me he was sure he wantes to try the Anticuchos, so before he changed his mind I order it, haha. But just 1 portion, just in case ;)

It was 1 portion, but was enough for 2 people. He tried it and found it delicious!!! Lima scores again, haha. Later he confessed me he was a bit afraid it wouldn't be nice and would taste like liver, which he dislikes. But not at all! His first word after trying the anticucho was: "Lecker! (tasty!)". He had already told his friends, he'd taste cow's heart and they were waiting for his review, which would be more then positive, hehe. He tried also the spicy sauces and to make the experience 100% Peruvian, he drank Inca Kola ;)
I created a Peruvian Cuisine fan, haha :)

In our way back we had some Peruvian sweets, delicious too!!! Then I went back home. I had to wake up early and it would be a long evening which would include a Soccer Match - cool!!!!
