Krish: my 1st TB of the year... and we are so alike!!!!! :)
I'm so glad I met my first TB of the year. Krish is a cool girl and we are so much alike... I'm amazed!
She contacted me sometime ago, letting me know she was coming to Lima, but I didn't hear about her anymore until a couple of days. She sent me a message and we agreed to meet the next day, perfect time: a Saturday! But I wasn't feeling very good. I got the cold and I was doing better, but still not 100% well. Anyway, I have to be honest and say I was thinking about posponing the meeting. But at the end I decided to go, and I'm so glad I decided for it :)
She's staying at a friend,s place and we 3 met at a nice bar - Huaringas - so she could try her first Pisco Sour. She has been sick the days before, but she was doing great and my cold..
. hahaha I forgot about it. We had a couple of drinks and then we were ready for party! Romain, her friend, is new in the city, so he didn't know many places - yet. I wasn't sure where to go, gave them a couple of choices and at the end we went to my favorite bar. Again! haha, what can I say it's a cool small place and I know one of the guys who works there. We had a beer and party started. There was live music. So we listened to them for a while and then went to the dance floor. It was a bit crowded, but we found placed and danced. Krish likes latin music and the 3 of us enjoyed it a lot. We went back to the bar area and the group was taking a break so it was our time for going to the stage, hahaha. We sang and danced. It was so fun! Just take a look at the pics.
The party continued until 4am! Just dancing, singing, having beer :)
I'm so glad I met Krish. We look alike and love having fun. But we don't just look alike, but also we both are "addicted" to this cool site, enjoy meeting people and showing around our hometowns. She's gonna stay for the week in Lima, so I'm sure this won't be the last time I meet her. And hopefully soon I can visit her in London.
Oh! I shouldn't forget telling about my new TB, Romain. He just joined the site after meeting us. So I posted this info later. He's a nice guy and recently moved to Lima. I was afraid he was thinking what are these 2 crazy girls doing? hahaha. Anyway, he took care of us. Thanks! He might be my first TB living in Lima! I feel so happy! He's French and is knowing Lima. Ok, I'll be his teacher :) No problem. He also likes to eat, mmm. I think I find my partner for discovering new places to eat, hahaha.
And my cold? well, the day after I didn't feel so well. But it doesn't matter, I spent a great time and got a new friend, what else can you ask for?
I have said it before, but I love this site!!!!

You can not only find the classic pisco sour, but also the Maracuya Sour (with passionfruit) this is the one of the house, Brujo Sour (pisco macerated in coca leaves), I just tried one with Granadilla (another peruvian fruit)so good!!! The possibilities keep on growing every day, hehe.
But when you drink is a good idea to have something in your stomach. Well, they give you canchita (corn), but have another menu just for food. Their appetizers are really good. A friend and I are always getting the shrimp with aguaymanto. They also have the yucas (similar to potato) and other possibilities.
The atmosphere is great! They play nice music, including live electronic jazz, modern instrumental music combined with live music. On Wed. there is live music (starting around 10 or 11pm). It doesn't matter when you go, the place always gets crowded.
Although there are tables on the 4 floors, it's hard to find a free place. So making a reservation or arriving early might be a good idea. Well, this place is perfect for starting the night :)
