You can tell if you are near Las Cruces if you see these mountains.
Today weather is mostly cloudy skies, and the temp is 65, with a high of 70. and as always, percipatation is 0%. The sun rose at about 6:30 am, and will set about 5:13 pm. It may be 65 degrees, but it feels like 80 indoors. The weather was pretty warm when we first got here almost two months ago but has cooled rapidly since then. Being my first journal entry, I will talk about Las Cruces. Las Cruces is really nice this time of year, and is really cool. we should see snow here before we leave. There is a large hill next to the hotel that has a small track on it that is popular with joggers. It gives you a good veiw of the mountains when you are on it. The hill almost looks like a dam the way it wraps aroud a large area. Be shure to look forward to my next entry!
