After our breakfast we walked to the main bus terminal in Nice and took a bus to Monte Carlo (trip time arround 1 hour).
We got off the bus at the MC Casino station. There we started our day tour on foot.
Where we are? Oh.
First of all, we organized a tourist map at a hotel. With this map in our hands, we walked through the main attraction of MC, the harbour. Incredible how large private yachts can be *gg*. Just enjoy the photos below ...
The historic part of our tour
Our next stop was the Palais Princier de Monaco of Prince Albert II. A historical building. We saw the hand-over of the guards as well. A nice tourist attraction :-).
Have I already mentioned that MC isn't really cheap? The average car you see there is a Ferrari or Lamborghini, thats nothing special. If you have seen the 10th, you don't look arround anymore *gg*.
For lunch we chose the Beefbar restaurant (also a tip of a TravBuddy, see below). I think that was the best beef I ever got. Oh my dear .... you really have to check the review below!!!
Heli Air Monaco
Furthermore we passed by a few nice parks and had a look at the Heli Air Monaco helicopter service, a very busy place. It got very windy in this period so it was even more a challenge for the heli pilots.
Monte Carlo is a very expensive and dense built city. Enjoy this flair of the rich and famous people. An amazing city you should have seen (at least) once in your life.
In the evening we took the same bus back which took us TO MC. We had to wait for arround 1.5 hours (and no one told anything what was the reason for this extrem delay ...) before our bus arrived. Normally they operate every 10-15 minutes ... strange. The conclusion had been that the bus was overcrowed :P ... but it was cheap *gg*.
Back "home" in Nice, we weren't hungry anymore. We just took some "Socca" and a cold beer to finish our day. Yummi!
