White Water Rafting in Tennessee

White Water Rafting

Ocoee River

Guess what I did over the Memorial Day weekend? I went white water rafting. Nick and I went with Stormy and her family. We went on the Ocoee River in Tennessee. It was a blast. Stormy’s brother threw me back into the raft and I slid across the raft with my behind in the air. Yeah…that was crazy!!! I also hit my nose on the top of the raft when we went down one of the big drops. Too much fun!!!!!

While we were in Tennessee, we also went to Lookout Mountain, Rock City, Raccoon Mountain and Cavern, and just saw all the sights we could.

We did a tour of a cave at Raccoon Mountain. We had a young rocker boy for a tour guide. He couldn’t stop laughing at us.

He asked how far down we think we are…in the freakin mountain. I said I think we are 1,600 ft. below sea level. He laughed so hard he couldn’t walk. Then he asked us why this one rock grew so big so fast. Stormy said Viagra. He choked on his gum. He swore he’d never forget us.

Lookout Mountain and Rock City were breath taking. There was one place where you could see 7 states. We also saw a 1000 ton balanced rock, Fat Man Squeeze, Lover’s Leap, Fairy Land, etc.

And then there was the rafting…

That was one action packed road trip. You should have seen Stormy on the swinging bridge. I though she was gonna crap her pants.
