I am visiting the highlights of Egypt with my my mom her friend, and her boyfriend. We will visit Cairo, Ras Seider, Alexandria, Aswan, Abu Simbel, Luxor and Hurgadah, all in a mere two weeks! This has been a dream of my moms since she ws a schoolgirl and read an aritcle about how the massive temple of Abu Simbel was moved. And me? I am always dreaming of visiting ancient sites, so I had to tag along too.

Tour guide confirmed!

Well after many emails, changes and special requests, we have finally decided on a tour guide. Now it is time to hit the books, and learn a bit about the sites. Over the course of my life, I have logged doezens of hours wathcing PBS and discovery specials about Egypt, but they are all jumbled up in my head. I am so excited I am obsessively surfing the internet, reading travellers blogs, and looking at pictures while dreaming of adventure. I would love to hear from anyone who has been there.
