KaÅŸ - cool sailing on a hot day

The day starts as usual it seems in the Turkish summer - the temperature picks up quickly but today it is off to the sea. On a small boat sailing around the coastline of
The area around KaÅŸ got a really pretty coastline which up until now has escaped the overdevelopment you see so many places around the coast of the
The trips goes to a few swimming spots - where we would have total privacy - if it weren't for the 10 other boat that had parked right next to us. But still the water was beautiful - and with a temperature inside the cockpit of the boat reaching 49 - it felt very refreshing to swim.
Just one piece of advice when going swimming just before lunch beware of small rocks in the distance that look so close - they can be quite far away when you want to swim around them. I almost missed lunch and the departure of the boat while going for the goal of swimming around that stupid rock.
After a few more stops along the way and a short visit to a sunken city - the big attraction of the trip apparently - though the water seemed more appealing than an old city. It was time to hit back to KaÅŸ and see what it had to offer for nightlife - even though it was not a major tourist hub there were still a few places to go at night.
