Valentine's at Damansara Perdana

Damansara Perdana - My area of residence is an upcoming place, near to KL city and areas of Damansara, Bangsar and Subang Jaya. This place is almost busy but we can still enjoy calming atmosphere of the hill areas (for now), especially by the apartment swimming pool in the mornings or weekends (before screaming kids play). The commercial area has nice quaint cafés and restaurants usually caters for residences and office at the area, and if you don’t mind coming all the way here, its worth a visit.

This place is near to One Utama in Bandar Utama and The Curve in Mutiara Damansara, of my favourite shopping malls.

Bar, Lounge and Club in The Curve / Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara
The initial hang-out place is in Bangsar before the scene picks-up in The Curve / Cineleisure, Mutiara Damansara

• Pharmacy / Cockpit / Lock-up / School, Bangsar
Usual place for Friday nights with the girls, with lots of stories to tell the morning after..
The theme of the bar changes in time, hence the change in name..

• Laundry, the Curve
affiliate of Italian restaurant counterpart, Italiannies
a lounge / cocktail / music bar with raw and industrial-styled dècor but complimented by elegant chandelier, the place for cool music to chill over warm bread, pizza and beer by Italiannies

• Sanctuary, The Curve
Refined sister club of School with contemporary Asian décor and pretty butterfly back-drop.
Also has an ice bar serving chilled Smirnoff vodka and vodka cocktails

• Scarlet, Cineleisure
Contemporary European décor
Had my birthday party here for year 2007

The Curve
Not your average shopping mall, The Curve is Malaysia’s first lifestyle pedestrianised shopping mall, with walkways that links to establishments under the development - IKEA Home Furnishings, IKANO Power Centre, Tesco Hypermarket and Cineleisure Damansara. There is also a 4-star hotel, the Royale Bintang Damansara.
The Curve is sectioned into The Walk, is the fashion mall and The Street, the al-fresco dining area. There is also a lively street market on weekends. From fashion boutiques, F&B outlets, karaoke, babyroom facilities, spas, beauty salons to gyms, banks and even laser eye center, the Curve is a one-stop shopping wonder!

Bianco
Nice and pleasant place for dining with open-air courtyard area, just a stroll from my home.
Had Valentine's Day dinner here last year, New Year's eve and birthday celebrations before and just about any other reason to come here. This lovely restaurant has a special place in my heart..
From the menu - Italian food over chilled Chilean house wine
The Pesto Liguine and Bianco's Special pizza - with spinach, ricotta cheese and topped with fried egg, is delicious!

Bella Roma
Bella Roma is a neighbourhood quaint Italian restaurant, I pass-by it everytime and when better time to dine in than for Valentine's Day dinner..
We would usually order a pasta and a pizza, we've already ordered a pizza but I just have to try the house speciality, the lamb pizza - with rosemary, irresistable! Dinner was pleasant, we were serenaded by a jazz duo and with a rose for me.. sweet!
