 This steak house is our family restaurant for birthday celebrations.

French / Japanese inspired boulangerie

Absolutely love the strawberry cake, had it for my birthday.

 

·         La Bodega • Jln Telawi, Bangsar Shopping Centre, Pavillion KL (www.bodega.com.my)

Matriarch of Spanish cuisine.

From the menu - Scrumptious breakfasts, tapas and rosé wine, sangria

 

·         Gusto’s / Bianco’s • Damansara Perdana

Nice and pleasant place for dining. just a stroll from my home

Gusto’s with its deep red décor is the venue for NYE 2006, my Birthday party 2006 and my first date with Beybi has since closed,  

Replaced by Bianco’s with its all white décor, but my fondness for the place remains.

·         Captain’s Cabin, Bukit Bintang

The dim lights and soft music in this steak house gives it soothing ambiance and a relaxing feel but the attraction is maybe because of the Jumbo glass beer

Beybi’s fave place and where we had dinner on his birthday.

Originated in Australia, classic continental style café with a stylish ambience.

Features a European-style and local menu and coffee.

Nice casual dining café specialising in desserts, but mains are just as delish..

The pretty cakes displayed at the entrance is inviting and the warm chocolate cake is heavenly

Cozy place for girl-talk sessions over tasty food and drinks

 

·         Winter warmers

The place for English style afternoon tea served in bone china tea-cups and three-tier tray comprises of sandwiches, scones, cakes and cookies..

Love the Bailey’s ice-cream

·         Auntie Juliet’s • Kota Kemuning

Homely café near the office, the place for lunch splurges on western food

My absolute fave hotel in KL, love the rainshower and curling up on the rattan chair by the pool

The venue for office Annual Dinner 2005 & 2006 and NYE 2007 with sis

Zeta Bar - Modelled after its namesake in London and Sydney, trendy place with ultra modern décor, the place to be and be seen in 

 

Nightlife and Entertainment

·         Boom Boom Room; Modesto’s The Forum, Damansara

It has since closed, but the memories remains

 

·         Hard Rock Café (www.hardrock.com)

Famous all over the world, American diner serving juicy burgers, also the place for good music and live band.

Has the best Long Island Iced Tea!

 

·         Pharmacy / Cockpit / Lock-up / School, Bangsar

Usual place for Friday nights with the girls, with lots of stories to tell the morning after..    

 

·         Laundry, the Curve

affiliate of Italian restaurant counterpart, Italiannies

a lounge / cocktail / music bar with raw and industrial-styled dècor but complimented by elegant chandelier, the place for cool music to chill over warm bread, pizza and beer by Italiannies

 

·         Sanctuary, The Curve

Refined sister club of School with contemporary Asian décor and pretty butterfly back-drop.

 

 ·         Luna Bar, Pacific Regency

urbane style rooftop poolside lounge bar with spectacular views of KL city

Espanda, formerly Emporium, was the place to raise temperatures by dancing hot Salsa to Latino numbers

The venue for my 21st birthday party.

§         Poppy Garden / Passion (http://www.poppy-collection.com)

The contemporary designer two story glass building has alfresco terraces and a lush garden with cooling water features comprises of restaurant, bar, cigar lounge and club.

Dinner is served at the open air garden in after which is the venue for party.

Passion • located on the first floor of Poppy Garden, is a tasteful plush lounge with predominantly "house" driven music base

 

§         Nuovo / Sangria Bar

Quaint street with row of elegant and sophisticated restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs :
