Train passing the restaraunt

DAY 1

We got back to Cuzco after the Inka Trail and had planned on going out but we were so tired we ended up hitting the sack...after the Hostal bar closed of course, haha.

DAY 2

We did some tourist shopping today and arranged to meet the entire group in an Indian Restaraunt later on before heading out.

Booked my bus to Nazcar for the next day at 8pm and decided to go for a slightly more comfortable one since my last experience of this journey was like hell on earth!

The Indian was ok, nothing special to be honest. The food was pretty bland.

Afterwards we headed to Mama Africas which was class. Paul, the Doctor who should be against binge drinking, bought me copious amounts of Tequila and after a bit of dancing the next thing I remember is being carried out by Bend and Paul.

Me n Bend

I dont remember ever being that wrecked before and will never be again. Paul said he is thinking of coming to Edinburgh for New Year. If that happens there will be ample payback!!!

DAY 3

Bus left at 8pm and I got out of bed at 7pm. Was feeling so rough and was glad the seats on the bus were comfortable and large.

Felt sick going to the bus, felt sick as the bus pulled off and was sick as we rounded the first bend!

Later a girl sat next to me and it turned out to be one of the bus boys girlfriends. I only speak a little Spanish but I am sure he was telling me to keep my hands to myself and kept pointing at the cctv camera!!

If I could speak better Spanish I would have informed him that the only desire on my mind at that time was for a beautiful bathroom with a chilly tiled floor and a sparkling toilet to hand my head into!

Arrived in Nazcar at 8am and I was still feeling slightly rough. I now have maximum respect for anyone travelling on their own, it is very daunting and things that didnt even bother me or cross my mind when it was Bend and me now does.

Booked a bus to Ica for 12:15 and then I need to get to Pisco from there. One week of volunteering ahead and I cant wait. I will def be laying off of the Tequilas though!!!!

Tequila is without a doubt the most evil liquid on Earth. I thought it was my friend a long time ago, now, i'd rather hold hands with food poisoning!! Mucho respect if you can have a session on it again.xx
