Jekyll Island, GA
August 26, 2003
As a last hurrah before the birth of our first child we stayed a night at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel which offers great deals on occasion, I'm not sure if they only advertise these locally or not but we were lucky enough to find out. We were given a room in the Sans Souci building (not actually in the main building but right next to it) and it was absolutely gorgeous. The grounds were beautiful, as was the historic hotel itself. The staff was wonderful and we really enjoyed everything about our visit except the heat and my very swollen feet! We had dinner at a restaurant right in front of the hotel on the water, which I can't remember the name of it but I do remember that we really enjoyed our meal there.
